The Ant Hill Mob was first formed in the late ‪‪70s starting out in street‬‬ cars, we gained a huge following of people early on. Famous for our music, party's and crowd ,our name has carried on, which over the last 43years we have progressed into the top level of dragracing to date. The founder and owner of the team is Smax Smith. A well known racer around the world, has built up his reputation from his out going personality, wild cars , and appearances on tv. Entering the top level of the sport in 2003 (top fuel) Smax won the 2003 FIA top fuel championship in his rookie season, the first rookie in European history to do so. 

Always being a self funded team , owned and operated by family and a volunteer of friends , we have been fortunate enough over the years to upgrade to the level we are at now. 

Smaxs  son, Aidan (28years old) is the second generation ant hill mob and has been behind the wheel of the family owned dragsters since moving from England , to Canada in 2004, graduating from jr dragster , quickly got behind the wheel of a blown alcohol altered , slowly following in his Dads foot steps! Smax now drives for the Leverich family top fuel dragster on the NHRA circuit, while also purchasing a NHRA legal up to date screw blown alcohol funny car that Aidan drives ! It won't be long before we make it on the NHRA stage !
